GoldenBoot's Touchline mode includes a substitution system designed for fast, one-tap management during live play.

1. Tap the IN badge on a bench player — they move to the substitution queue
2. Tap the OUT badge on a playing player — the sub is executed
3. The bench player goes on, the field player comes off
4. Playing time tracking adjusts automatically

The substitution queue shows players waiting to go on:

• Players tapped IN appear in the queue
• The queue is visible below the player list
• Execute the sub by tapping OUT on the player being replaced
• Cancel a pending sub by tapping the player in the queue

To make multiple subs at once:

1. Tap IN on the first bench player
2. Tap IN on the second bench player
3. Both appear in the queue
4. Tap OUT on the first player coming off
5. Tap OUT on the second player coming off
6. Both subs execute in sequence

• When a player goes IN, their playing time clock starts
• When a player goes OUT, their playing time clock stops
• The timer only runs when the game clock is running
• Pausing the game clock pauses all individual player timers
• Minutes Played is calculated automatically and included in match stats
