====== Substitutions ======

GoldenBoot's Touchline mode includes a substitution system designed for fast, one-tap management during live play.

===== Making a Substitution =====

  - Tap the **IN** badge on a bench player — they move to the **substitution queue**
  - Tap the **OUT** badge on a playing player — the sub is executed
  - The bench player goes on, the field player comes off
  - Playing time tracking adjusts automatically

===== Substitution Queue =====

The substitution queue shows players waiting to go on:

  * Players tapped **IN** appear in the queue
  * The queue is visible below the player list
  * Execute the sub by tapping **OUT** on the player being replaced
  * Cancel a pending sub by tapping the player in the queue

===== Quick Double Substitution =====

To make multiple subs at once:

  - Tap **IN** on the first bench player
  - Tap **IN** on the second bench player
  - Both appear in the queue
  - Tap **OUT** on the first player coming off
  - Tap **OUT** on the second player coming off
  - Both subs execute in sequence

===== How Playing Time Works =====

  * When a player goes **IN**, their playing time clock starts
  * When a player goes **OUT**, their playing time clock stops
  * The timer only runs when the **game clock is running**
  * Pausing the game clock pauses all individual player timers
  * **Minutes Played** is calculated automatically and included in match stats
