====== Statistics Overview ======

GoldenBoot provides comprehensive statistics tracking for individual players across all matches. Stats are entered per match and automatically rolled up into career totals.

===== How Stats Work =====

  - Stats are entered on a **per-player, per-match** basis
  - **Career totals** are computed automatically from all match data
  - **Averages** (goals per game, shot accuracy, etc.) are calculated in real-time
  - Goalkeepers have their own dedicated stat sheet
